PROCESS
TOOLS
GOALS
1 Analyses
Brief & De-Brief
Evaluation workshop
Projectplan
A solid briefing is the basis for optimizing process benefits. We ask questions and define a common goal. We develop a potential analysis of the design challenges of your company as a basis for strategic product design.
We usually start projects with a kickoff workshop, which is a very efficient way for knowledge transfer, discovering potentials and challenges, developing a basis for decision making and planning concrete steps.
2 Research
User Research
Design Analysis
Business Analysis
Technical deep dive
We analyse your current and potential target groups and break down their needs and behaviours. These findings form an ideal basis for the design, and ensure that your resources are well invested.
Parallel to the user research, we analyse from a design perspective how competitors are occupying the market and which technical features we have to take into account in our design.
3 Conception
Concept profiling
Aestetic parameters
Technical parameters
Manufacturing parameters
Based on the findings of the research we develop a broad catalogue of ideas, which we condense into resilient concepts in collaborative iterations. We take into account your research results, degree of realisation and user needs.
First visualisations pave the way for the preliminary design. They are used for early concept evaluation and the onboarding of external partners.
4 Elaboration
Design Draft
Mock-up
Prototype
In finding the form, we let ourselves be guided not only by theoretical knowledge but also by the inherent laws of the materials and production technologies. In our prototypes and models, we try to get as close as possible to reality in order to be able to test our assumptions in practice. To do this, we use the necessary technologies and a broad network of experts.
5 Refinement
Testing
Design Details
CMF
In order to be able to define all design details, we collect feedback from users and work closely with developers and production partners. This way we can incorporate demands for usability and efficient implementation.
6 Implementation
Handover
Visual Communication
The detailed implementation is fundamental for the success of the results of complex design processes. We therefore pay attention to connectable documents, a clear handover briefing and also oversee the implementation after the handover to ensure the maximum value of your investment.
